Our Most Frequently Asked Questions...

G & G Appliance Service is always here to help you with all of your appliance maintenance and repair questions. Below are some common questions that we get from our customers.

1. What is the fastest way to get service so that I don’t have to wait?

The fastest way to get service is by scheduling a repair online. Click HERE to do that!

Plus, when you fill out the form, we use that information to dispatch a technician right away. We don’t have to spend time on phone writing all the information down. The bottom line is this: We can serve you better and faster through our system if we’re not answering phone calls all day long.

2. What types of appliances do you repair?

Most of the service calls we make involve problems with refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, ranges, ovens, cooktops, washers, and dryers. We work with all major brands as well as specialized brands that are not as well known, and we even repair all new and older models. Our technicians are certified and fully-trained to repair all types of appliances.

3. What if my appliance is no longer under warranty?

We provide the same level of quality service for all makes and models of appliances, whether they are under warranty or have outlasted their warranty.

4. What should I do if I notice that my appliance is not working?

First, stop using the machine. Whether it’s a noise, a damaged part, an electrical problem, or a problem with your water or gas line, you should turn the machine off and cease using it. Continuing use can make the problem worse.

Second, contact a G & G Appliance Service technician right away. The sooner you call us, the faster we can respond to your problem.

5. Should I attempt to fix the appliance myself?

While you may be tempted to fix a major repair yourself, you could run into several problems that complicate the job. For instance, if there is an electrical or gas-related problem, you could compromise your home’s safety. As appliances become more technologically advanced, the parts become more complex and difficult to repair.

Manufacturers are becoming more particular about using certified technicians to repair or replace parts to keep from voiding the warranty. Also, you may want to view the repair as an investment into the long-term performance of your appliance. Many DIY projects are nothing more than quick fixes that don’t necessarily solve long-term problems.

8. How much it will cost to repair my appliance?

Experienced technicians know that the only way to accurately determine the cost of fixing an appliance is to diagnose the problem first. This is only possible through an on-site inspection, not over the phone.

G & G Appliance Service sets our pricing through a flat-fee structure. This allows us to give you a more accurate estimate without all the guesswork. You will know how much the job is going to cost before we begin the work. There are no hidden costs or fees associated with our pricing. Just a transparent, bottom-line quote that you can count on.
